terms of use

Last updated: 28 August 2026

1. scope and acceptance

These terms apply to nura Mail Review, a private email-management utility. By authorising or using the utility, the user agrees to these terms.

2. authorised private use

The utility may be used only by an authorised user for Gmail accounts and messages they are permitted to access and manage. Access is granted through Google OAuth and remains under the user's control.

3. user responsibility

The user is responsible for securing their device and Google account, checking the utility's proposed actions, and ensuring that their use complies with applicable law, workplace rules, and any duties owed to other people whose messages they handle.

4. approval before sending

The utility may prepare a draft, but it sends a message only after the user explicitly approves that specific send. Before approval, the user must review the recipients, content, attachments, and timing. The user remains responsible for every message they approve.

5. prohibited misuse

The utility must not be used to:

  • Access an account or message without permission.
  • Send spam, harassment, deceptive messages, malware, or unlawful content.
  • Circumvent security controls or conceal unauthorised activity.
  • Automate sending without the explicit, message-specific approval required by these terms.
  • Use the utility in a way that harms Google, nura, another user, or any third party.

6. availability and no warranty

nura Mail Review is a private utility provided as available. Its features may change, be interrupted, or stop. No guarantee is made that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. The user should verify important actions directly in Gmail and keep any records they need.

7. access and revocation

The user may revoke the utility's Google OAuth access at any time through their Google Account security settings. Access may also be withdrawn if private authorisation ends, misuse is suspected, or continued operation creates a security risk. Revocation does not undo actions already approved and completed.

8. changes

These terms may be updated when the utility or its use changes. The current version and revision date will be published at this address.
